manana.jpg

Summary

A nicely proportioned, easy-to-handle tug with a totally rebuilt Gardner 2LW engine from Walsh Engineering with Parsons 1:1 gearbox and 20x13 prop. The shell, by Steelcraft, is in excellent condition. The boat was stripped back to bare metal last year with a holding coat applied. It has now be rubbed back and newly repainted The hull was power-washed, scraped and reblacked at the same time as the bare metal preparation. In addition to the work carried out on the shell, there are a number of new or refurbished fixtures and fittings. These include new fridge and calorifier, new inverter, new stainless steel chimney stack outlet with new stainless steel fold-down exhaust. The portholes and vents have also been re-chromed and the boat has had a new BSC issued. From the stern, steps lead into the back cabin with drop-down bed. This opens into the engine room housing the superb fully restored Gardner 2LW. Forward is a small separate bathroom newly retiled then the galley and saloon. The saloon has a solid fuel stove, a small dining table and sofa bed which can be partially extended under the tug deck.

The boat is being sold very reluctantly by the present owner as pressure of work means he is unable to make the most of it and would rather see it enjoyed by someone else.
